Letter of intent — Employers

Sign a hiring LOI.

A Letter of Intent tells us how many engineers you expect to hire from an upcoming cohort and which skills you need. It is non-binding: no funds change hands, no candidate is reserved exclusively for you, and you can revoke it at any time before a hire is signed. What it does do is gate higher employer tiers and put your name on the cohort reservation list ahead of unverified employers.

We charge a 12% take-rate on signed hire attestations, and only when the learner is attributable to your account via channel_attribution=talent_search. Invoiced T+30 from the hire start date. No subscription, no listing fee, no per-seat charge.

Legal entity name as it will appear on signed hire attestations and invoices.

We verify ownership via a DNS TXT challenge after submit. Generic webmail (gmail, outlook, etc.) is rejected.

ISO-3166-1 alpha-2. Drives sanctions screening and invoice tax handling.

What happens next

  1. 01Verify domainWe email a TXT record value to your hiring contact. Publish it under _upskillzone on your domain. Verifier polls every 15 minutes for up to 7 days.
  2. 02email_attested upgradeReply to the TXT-confirmation email from a role address on the same domain (e.g. hiring@). This unlocks salary bands and self-serve hire attestations.
  3. 03First hire attestation gateWhen you make a hire, the candidate counter-signs an attestation. That signed record triggers the 12% invoice on T+30 and counts toward your LOI commitment.
